But you fail to take into account the math that was involved to come to this extremly clear and decisive decision. Lets start with the French. The number 0 represents alot for this squad. The amount of games they won last world cup, the amount of goals scored last world cup, and the percentage they have of winning this one. The French with a very storng and balanced team fails to realize that the anything divided by 0 is 0. Scoring 0 goals again in this world cup doesnt even put this team out of there bracket. Next we come to Holland, ah yes the dutch. It reminds me of the previous world cup when holland almost qualified. This team follows the leadership of Manchester United Great Rudd Van Nistelroy. He sports the number 10. Now considering is team finished 2nd in the league we divided this number by the number worn by Rudd. 5, this is a solid number for the dutch. This shall represent a number of things. The amount of goals Rudd shall score, the number of forwards Van Basted will play during this world cup, and most importantly the amount of games the Dutch shall play. Moving on we come to the argentinians. Impressive bunch who were the 1st team to qualify for the WC. Interestingly enough there were 4 teams who qaulified from south America. 1 of these teams is the power house of brazil. Take 4, the number of quality strikers, midfielders, and defenders for the argentinians. Then Take 1, the first team to qualify, that barcelona youngester (messi), and finishing first in there group. With this in mind add 4 to 1. 5, the number of gamest Argentina shall play. Next we come to the mighty Italiens. 2 represnts a great numbe for them. The number of goals scored in the first game, the number of great forwards they have on the bench (del piero, viera), the number of teams the are going to lose to, and the number of goals they shall score in this WC. NO addition, subtraction, mulipication, or division needed for this team. They shall finish 3rd, one less than 2, which is the number they would like to be. Now we come to the home town favorites. Some interesting calcualtions in this one. Lets take for. A very generous number for this side. Considering its the amount of goals scored in the first game, the number of wholes in the back line and the amount of saves lehman should have had. Lets take 4 and square it, 2. 2 is the number of games this team is going to win. 2 is also going to be the round they get knocked out of. 2 shall also be the amount of goal keepers klinsman decides to use (lehman and kahn). Now we start to get interesting. Lets start with the Powerhouse team of brazil. 11 men start for brazil but realistically 33 players could find there way into the starting line up. In order to get every player on the team a chance to play this team needs to balls. So lets take the amount of teams needed for Brazil, 3, and the amount of footballs needed to make everyone happy, 2. Times 2 by 3 and you get 6. 6 the amount of games the brazillians will play. In the end to much talent with not enough positions or footballs. Brazil fizzles because of believe or not to much talent. Next we come to an interesting choice to get the semis in England. England has 4 solid players on the back line, 4 solid midfielders, and not a single decent healthy forward. Lets take the square root of both the solid defenders and midfielders and then add them together. This takes us back to 4. 4 is the a great number for the english side. This shall bethe number of games befoer rooney finally will play, the amount of games Crouch will look stupid, the number of goals by other teams and steve G, the number of times the English will doubt every move made by Erikson, and most importantly the amount of teams left when the english side takes its fall.
